Town Development Fund organized 2 days training program (December 19-20, 2022) on strengthening Disaster Preparedness and Response Planning at the Sub-National Level to the staffs (Engineers, Environmentalists, and Chief Administrative officers) of 15 municipalities and CBOs under the Municipal Finance Capacity Building (MFCB) Programme at Sauraha, Chitwan.
The main objective of this workshop was to involve CBOs in disaster preparedness and response planning ensuring gender equality and social inclusion (GESI) in the process of DRM at the local level. The workshop highlighted the value of traditional knowledge from indigenous communities to reduce disaster risk at the community level.
