 Municipal Finance and Capacity Building (MFCB) Programme

A teaser is the major highlight of the project explained in two-three lines.

The MFCB programme actions are intended to provide technical assistance to enhance the capacity of municipalities on the demand side, as well as enhance the capacity of TDF on the supply side to achieve the long term impact of contributing to foster economic development through the blended financing.

What the project is about/ goals/ objectives

The changed federal context, following the restructuring of the county and having local elected representatives in place, after a two decade long gap;  the programme aims to address the challenges and constraints faced by newly elected sub national governments. The overall objective of the programme is to enhance the capacity of the program municipalities and the TDF to foster local economic development and climate resilient investment through blended financing.
