Bus Parks and Bus Terminals has been iconic project being financed by TDF since its inception, with proven track record contributing to improvement of public transport infrastructure across the country for improved connectivity and local economic development.
Water supply and sanitation sector is TDF’s largest investment portfolio with 52.5% of its total investment as per annual report of FY 2075/76, proving loan assistance to more than70 small towns across the country since year 2000 and additional 20 municipalities to be financed under Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Project.
Investment by TDF for improvement of tourism related infrastructure development in selected historically important places such as Tansen for built heritage conservation and development.
Disposal of Solid Waste is major challenge faced by all local level governments of Nepal and TDF is financing entire spectrum of services including recycling plant, sanitary landfill site, treatment plant etc.
Roads are the backbone of economic development and TDF is financing for improvement of road network to maximize economic and social benefits.
